Edit/Change Articles

The interface for entering and editing articles are identical.
To add a new article click on New Article on the navigation menu.
The section to which you want to associate the article must be enabled entering /editing for hosting articles from Configuration Articles Tab.
The interface (Fig. 1) is presented as a list of text fields where the red color highlights the obligation. Each data form presents at the top a series of tab that let you interact with a different group of data fields.

Fig. 1: Example of card for adding article.

Specifically, the pattern consists of the following Tab:
  • Main: it allows you to manage the main fields as title, abstract (introductory text displayed in the list) and content (HTML description).
  • Package Options: it allows you to attach and interact with contents related to other modules (example, attach a form to send data or a gallery, to enable links to the glossary's terms, or adding comments).
  • File Attachments: it allows you to attach files that will be displayed at the bottom of the content of the article.
  • Link: it allows you to put links that will appear at the bottom of the content of the article.
  • Publication: it allows you to manage the delayed publication of the article.
  • Feed: it allows you to attach the article to one or more feeds. The activation of this tab is relative to the activation of the Feed Area.
  • Activation/Limitations: it allows you to set some parameters of activation and display (diplay the article on the homepage, view its details and activate it in the automatic newsletters) and to limit user group.
  • Related Articles: it allows you to define a set of rules for correlating the article with other articles of the same kind. The use of these fields generates an online related articles list to the bottom of the content of the article.
  • Meta Tag: it allows you to manage the main META Tag and the strings of url rewrite.
